Our range of quality optical lens options ensures we can find the right lens design for you. Utilising the latest developments in lens design technology, we ensure that your lenses provide clear vision with durable, scratch resistant coatings. Our lenses provide reduced glare from reflections, reduced smudging, scratch resistance and both dust and water repellence.
1-Hour express lab service!
Our in-practice lens edger technology gives you access to 1 hour express lab service. Meaning, if you need your lenses urgently, we can get them to you on the same day that you visit our practice—your lenses will be ready by the time you’ve finished your shopping!
Our lenses include Carl Zeiss, Nikon, Hoya, Oakley, and Essilor. All our lenses come with an anti scratch coating to help prevent scratches.
Additional options include:
- Anti reflective coating or multicoat – This helps reduce glare when driving at night, removes unwanted reflections and helps improve the appearance of your glasses while improving comfort during computer use.
- Transition Lenses – Transition lenses are photochromic lenses that darken in the sun when exposed to UV rays and lighten up when inside as UV exposure decreases.
- Bifocal lenses and Progressive lenses – These allow you to view things in the distance and also read with the same pair of glasses. Bifocals have a visible line in them whereas progressive lenses have no line and are cosmetically more appealing.
- Thin lens – By using high index lens, we can make your lens more than 50% lighter and thinner, especially if you have a high prescription
Essilor Crizal lenses are renowned for their lightness, thinness and scratch resistance. There are a number of advantages to using Essilor Crizal lenses:
- Glare Reduction Efficiency
- Crizal lenses are made up of a series of thin mineral layers that prevent light interference on the surface of the lens, thus eliminating glare.
- Smudge Resistance Efficiency
- The HSD™ Process* optimizes the density of hydrophobic and oleophobic molecules on the surface of the lens. Water and smudges are better repelled and the lens is easier to clean, when required. *High Surface Density Process™
- Scratch Resistance Efficiency
- The introduction of an extra thin layer called the SR Booster™ (Scratch Resistance) optimizes interaction among the different treatment layers, and boosts, or strengthens, the whole stack. It considerably increases scratch resistance
- Dust Repellence Efficiency
- The introduction of an extra thin layer called the SR Booster™ (Scratch Resistance) optimizes interaction among the different treatment layers, and boosts, or strengthens, the whole stack. It considerably increases scratch resistance
